I believe that I have read somewhere that littering in Singapore is a legal punishable crime.

My wife and I have friends in both Scotland and Wales. Years ago both couples (on separate occasions and visits) politely commented on all the rubbish (old tires, rusted autos, discarded furniture and you name it -- it was probably there) they saw along country and city roads almost everywhere we took them for sightseeing. It was difficult for us to come up with a valid reason -- other than the obvious one of people not caring to dispose of their garbage in an appropriate way.
When we drive through the countryside in Canada and many European countries we are impressed with the obvious pride citizens take in keeping the countryside clean and orderly.
I hope we can reverse this in the USA where needed.

I had almost the identical car. Mine was an Impala and had different wheels. Only other difference I could see was that the red stripe down the sides were black on my car. I kept it from new for 5 years and sold it when the Turboglide transmission gave out at about 55,000 miles. Had installed Airlift pneumatic bags in the rear coil springs which improved handling. Also had the 283 engine with a 4 barrel carburetor (many say that was the best V8 Chevvy ever made). I always felt that this car was the best looking of the Impalla's made. Wish that I had kept it (famous last words).

Your car photographs are wonderful. Thank you for sharing them with us.
Number 1 car and the last one number 6 are my life long favorite collector cars that I obviously will never own. Is there any way I could obtain 11"x14" color photos of these two cars?

Sales people tell me when asked that it is not necessary to format the new card. Samsung says it is. What do you think?

I was in Dayton, Ohio this past Friday for a Navy ship reunion and had the pleasure of visiting the outstanding Air Force Museum. It is fabulous. I believe it has only military planes including a few WW2 German planes as well as WW2 Japanese planes. I saw a B26 plane there that may be the only one in existence (most of them were scrapped). This museum is huge so wear your comfortable walking shoes. The museum cost is FREE. The Seattle Boeing Air Museum is also very good although considerably smaller (I spent most of my life in the Seattle area and saw it several times). While in Dayton I would also highly recommend the Carillon Historical Park where you will see a lot of interesting Dayton history (this was far more interesting than I thought it would be) located in close in Dayton. And don't miss the Packard Car Museum if you have the time. ENJOY

I have an old Tamron SP 17mm Adaptall lens fitted with a Tamron Adaptall P/KA Pentax K mount. Would it be possible to additonally add a Pentax K mount to Sony E mount adapter (available on Amazon & E-Bay) to use on my Sony a6000? The lens is in mint condition and not being used. It may be a bit of a stretch to use 2 adapters. What are your thoughts on this. Thanks for any replies.

I sincerely hope that this question will not starting WWIII in UGH by asking this question -- as that is not my desire.
What can we personally do about getting all our elected politicians in Washington, DC to stop their telemarketing and to get back to doing the job that "we the people" elected them to do?
Thank you in advance for all your well intended responses.

I can't answer "is this the much different from the way all vehicles are made now?"
However I can relate to a trip (a Danube River cruise with my wife to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary) we took this past May, 2015 in Regensburg, Bavaria. I went on a tour through the big BMW factory plant there and I saw essentially the same thing as shown in this very interesting Tesla plant in Fremont, CA. At one point we were (all tourists) standing on a high balcony overlooking a cavernous room (perhaps 4 times the size of a large airplane hanger) looking at hundreds of these machines with arms waving all over and assembling, welding and who knows what else.
I've thought about this scene often since that visit. One wonders after viewing that how many jobs will be left when full automation is applied around the world. In that room were perhaps no more than a dozen humans who we were told do the maintenance, repairs and mechanical changes as needed to assemble other things. Also we were told in no uncertain terms "no photographs permitted". After seeing that I have no doubt that most manufacturing as we know it in the world can be done this way.
I think we certainly need to plan for something like this.
One wonders whats coming!

Photographs don't have to be square or so called ideal photograph. For example: I have an original old 8"x10" sepia tone photo print that is a full length portrait of my father taken by a professional photographer perhaps around 1910 at which time he attended a masquerade ball in New York City wearing a beautiful knit Italian troubadour costume and carrying a mandolin. I wanted a larger version of this -- about 11"x14" with an ornate dark wood oval frame around it to hang on the wall in my den. I took it to a long time pro photographer I knew in Bellevue, WA (Brant Photography) perhaps about 30 years ago. (I was living there at this time) and had him copy the original and trim it to fit the preselected vertical oval frame that I picked. It turned out beautiful and I am looking at it now as I type this message.

I also used Hasselblad for wedding and portrature work. Another advantage not mentioned is if one's main product sold are wedding albums -- I found square easier albums to put together and also to order pages. I used only 5x5, 8x8, 10x10 inch size pages ordered from Artleather. My customers seemed to love it. Never a complaint because of square photos in 17 years of doing weddings.
Another oblique reason for using Hasselblad instead of using anything else. A number of people seemed to be of the opinion that a Hasselblad user's work was better just by virtue of using Hasselblad. I never believed that -- but continued to use Hasselblad because of the high quality and ease of use. It simply -- I thought was good for business. I retired from wedding photography and portraits in 1994. Obviously things have changed quite a bit since those years.
Regarding some opinions as to which is more artistic. I always felt that my format choice depended on the composition of the subject matter. Some walls that I have hung large framed photographs just called out for square (in my mind). With square negatives I had that easy "choice".
