I sincerely hope that this question will not starting WWIII in UGH by asking this question -- as that is not my desire.
What can we personally do about getting all our elected politicians in Washington, DC to stop their telemarketing and to get back to doing the job that "we the people" elected them to do?
Thank you in advance for all your well intended responses.

In my area there was one guy who sent snail mail everyday which I promptly tossed in the USPS recycle bin.
When they called my house I simply hung up on the IMMEDIATELY.
You can also tell them to wait a minute, bring the phone next to the blender, and turn it on to its highest speed.
They'll keep calling but it's so much fun to hear the screams.
Are you referring to the "60 Minutes" program of last night that also hit national news this morning? The story on legislators having to commit to big time tele fund raising as part of their job if they wanted party support and requires more time than doing their "job". The renegade Congressman who's refusing to do it and co-sponsoring a bill partially addressing his concerns?
No,didn't see it.
To be honest in my humble opinion, NOTHING

We need longer terms for the House so that they're not always running for re-e******n.
