I use a free program from Google called Picasa. It works fine with Windows 10.

I have purchased from both Adorama and B&H. Became aware of another way to shop at greentoe.com. You put in a bid and if accepted you get the item at your price. All American warranty and New, no grey market sales.

I have used Greentoe 3 times and each time I have been very satisfied. As they say in their ad, be sure you want what you are buying. The venders they use have a 15% "restocking" fee when you return the item. The other thing is that you don't have any choice about the vendor, but I haven't had any issue with the vendors. You will save money.

I am looking to sell one lens and purchase another more expensive one. There are no camera stores located near me, so I generally shop online. I have contacted Adorama about selling the lens and they will send a prepaid mailer to send it to them. Has anyone sold used equipment to either Adorama or B&H? If so, do you feel they paid a fair price for the equipment? I recognize they must make a profit on any used purchase, but I don't want to give a nice lens away either.

You are going to get more money for your lens if you can sell it through Craigs List. If you can't try KEH, I just sold them a L series lens and they were very fair and quick. Go online and get a quote, the trick is to fairly evaluate your lens.

Try Cameta.com. They are located in NJ. I know they are open, because I talked to them today.

tsilva, I have uv filters on most of my lenses. What is the disadvantage of having them?? Do they cause distortion or cause some sort of color aberration?? -FiddleMaker

Me too. Saved a couple of my lenses. Don't get the cheap one, I only buy the "clear" filters.
