It is the "standard" shot for that lighthouse. But I can't help but take every time I'm there.

I have a D7100 and can't imagine asking for more. My walkaround lens is a Sigma 18-250. Works very well.

I agree. What part of Maine do you live in? I've always been not far from the coast so I almost take it for granted.

Only been there about 3 times. The tower was only open once but the waiting line was too long. I did climb the tower at Seguin Island.

I grew up one town inland from this lighthouse. I never get tired of taking or looking at pictures of it.
