Brenda, are you sure of ID? Bug guide shows NONpunctate elytra and orangish legs. Range is southern US. Bill
Pardon my ignorance, but, wth does lol mean? What did infinite mean in his comment about using an expensivecamera underwater?
Turantulas totally destroy prey to get the last drop . When I fed small colorful beetles, what was left sometimes looked like jewels. The face on the spider is beautiful in it's own way . Thanks, Bill
There is a possibility that it is eating it's own shed. Not much nutrition, but still possible. Many lizards, frogs ann other lower animals do. Bill
I think the transition from the English language to Texanese would be difficult.
Bet the grasshopper was not too happy.
My two cents. They take over osprey nests here on the Chesapeake. The osprey do not bother them. Smart osprey. Young jump out at parent urging(no camera handy). Osprey may then nest. Sometimes it will be the reverse, they seem to get along.I have some in my face shots of one when I came on the nest at home, see if I can find and post. Bit of camera, shake but to be understood.
Looks like what I have been told were Herefords. ?
Ask on line about how they survive the pounding. Very interesting. The toungue is also unique.
If you think about it, that joke has to have some years on it. It mentions a milkman. Haven't heard of milk delivery at home except for newborns in many years.
Mr. Perez, Mark does state that he is a retired teacher. Was he supposed to retire his vocabulary?.Besides, did you not enjoy learning a new word?
I know, the lack of the chestnut back is against Kestral. If it is an Aplomado,it is a doubly good photo. One for quality, one for rareness of the subject
If you shot that in your home state, most likely NOT Applomado, too far north. White throat, buff breast, and from what I see, almost chestnut anal feathers say Kestral. They are the size of a cockatiel, have distinctly elbowed, pointed wings, and a more square than round tail. Peregrine is the size of a crow or a bit bigger.Hope info helps. Bill
Dick, I am seventy one, that is a cell phone selfie, and my normal dress. Here is another.
