That was the point I was trying to make last night. You have what you have because at the time you had to have it. Learn the system you have and perhaps down the road you might think of adding the other system in concert with what you have.

This must be a trick question. Why would consider a trade, used for used? No warranty. My grandmother used to say..."The devil you know is better than the devil you don't." If you are happy with what you have, and you must have been somewhat happy as you purchased it in the first place, use what you have and be happy that you have it.

A better alternative would be having your son take better care of his toys. I would also take the "I" out of fixing it. He made the mess, let him clean it up. That would be called responsibility.
