I'm in a band with an older man who used to drive a bull dozer for Blake on his ranch. One day when George was working, blake called him to the house. When George walked in there was a guitar case sitting on the couch. Blake said, "George, I thought you might like this." It was a brand new Takamine acoustic like Blake plays. I have never seen another like it and it was probably worth 3 grand.
Blake is a class person. Just had to put in a word for Blake the person. After Blake gave George the guitar, I went out and bought some of his CD's.
KF5IEN (ham radio) and play banjo in two bluegrass bands.
I used to live near Dayton, OH and went to the Dayton air show every year. Your pictures are not only beautiful but they also bring back happy memories. Isn't that what photography is suppose to do?
Does anyone use EOS Remote App for iPhone?
Have you switched to Camera Connect?
If so, how did you get the replacement app to hook up?
I downloaded Camera connect, did not delete EOS Remote and cannot connect to new replacement app.

A woman was on trial for beating her husband to death with his guitar collection.
The judge asked, "First offender?"
The defendant answered, "No your honor. First a Gibson then a Fender."

The entire series suggests that many athletes these days are "glory hogs". Celebrating their prowess often to the detriment of their performance. I also see this in many popular performers who seem to be saying "look at me" rather than "behold the piece being performed".
It seems like we are seeing more "selfies" these days.

This is funny. I read a bit about Outlook and watched the video. Then I opened it (Outlook 2013) on my computer and found that the trial period had ended. I didn't know there was a trial period. I only got this because I was offered a chance to open an Outlook email account. Outlook 2010 is no longer available as a trial, and I would have to buy Outlook 2013 for $110.00. I'll still with Windows Live Mail.
I used to work for Microsoft as an Outlook engineer. Outlook is part of Microsoft office suite. I am a little prejudice of course. It has contacts, calendar and notes. You can do more with Outlook than any other email program I have seen. You can have separate folders for different people or for different topics. You can use for multiple accounts. It is very customizable. It came with the office suite but now Microsoft started renting MS Office for x
number of dollars per year depending on what office programs you get in your office suite. I hate renting software. But I still think you should buy office professional for $100 and Wrangler jeans for $8. I also hate paying for tech support. OH MY GOD. The world has passed me by!
I guess "Give'em Hell Harry" had one flaw. He couldn't speak Russian so he figured we should keep English in the USA!
Richard,
You mean our President actually stood up for murdered and captured Americans?
When servicemen came back to the world, many were told not to wear their uniforms when flying home on leave. I guess many are coming out of the closet now. It's about time.
I have never seen a Soldier, Sailor, Airman or Marine start a war but I know plenty who could end one if the politicians would keep out of it.
When I meet a veteran I first ask what branch they were in and then say, "Welcome home soldier, sailor, airman or marine."
People here have repeatedly thanked the vets and I for one really appreciate that. However we shouldn't forget the true heroism of the mothers and fathers, aunts and uncles ,grand parents and wives who sent their boys and girls off to war. They cringed ever time a dark green car drove down the street. They probably cried after they answered the door and found out it was only the little boy next door wanting to get his baseball that was in your back yard. Those folks were true Heros! They got no medals or citations. I would much rather go back to Dong Ha than send my son or daughter off to war.
Too many parents, wives, relatives and friends had to live the rest of their lives without a loved son, daughter, husband or friend because war is not a video game.
