What exactly is a "hoppie"? Would that be the pursuit of all things hoppie.

Very nice joinery. I, too, enjoy woodworking and competitive rifle shooting.

2nd is model trains (O scale); 3rd is firearms for the shooting sports; & 4th is old jukeboxes w/78 rpm records. My problem is not enough time for all that stuff. And I'm retired

Could you post some pictures of your hoppies

Can do, but I'll have to take some first. Will make it a point soon.
I like to jump from one place to the other...that's my HOPPIE>
I'm a little kid that never grew up. I still build plastic airplane models. The International Plastic Modelers Society USA had it's national convention and contest here in Columbus last month. We had almost 3,000 models representing about 40 states, Puerto Rico, Guam, & several folks from Canada & Mexico.
As you can tell from my avatar woodworking is one of my hobbies plus photography, oil and acrylic painting and gourmet cooking.
I seem to have more hobbies than I know what to do with. I'm a woodworker and once taught it and woodturning. I'm also a carver.
Travelling around Europe and the European battlefields of World War one & two as well as hiking in the mountains around home pretty well round out my repertoire of hobbies nowadays.
