Anyone know if the New York Institue of Photograhy is worth the 999.00 I am thinking of taking a refresher course to catch up on digital photography, I have a graphic arts degree and would like to get up to date what do you think, and are there others out there who you may think better to learn from

Thank you all what a nice welcome to the forum, I will sort through my pictures and get some up within the next couple of days, think I'm going out tomorrow and the next day just need to decide where its all so beautiful will check in when I get back

yes both operations are still going Robinson's is about 2 blocks from us here in Kihei, hope you can come back again sometime and enjoy this wonderful place

It sure is, no cold, just beach weather almost every day, we got lucky when my wife came up for the postal transfer here

Yeah its nice here, warm all year, my wife got a postal transfer here from Jamestown, but I miss my kids they are still in Sonora raising their own families

That's good I did not know someone was going to take over the name hopefully they get the patents and create a dslr I would bet it would be a decent camera

Maybe some of that technology will be incorporated into the cameras coming out under the Kodak name now from the company that is licensing the name. Hopefully they are getting some of the tech stuff as well.

thank you, I will dig through some recent pictures tomorrow and try and find some from my dslrs to put up for review, Kodak did put out some nice cameras to bad the camera division went under, they still own the patents so maybe they will rebound someday

did this with a Kodak Z990 with 30x zoom extended to 20x, even though its from point and shoot kind of interesting
