Hello everyone I have been watching the forum for a month and finally figure its time to introduce myself, this is a great forum you folks give great advise and I feel as if I will learn allot from you all. Here is a short bio. of myself I hope to contribute soon and post a few pictures. I first learned to use a camera in the Navy as a Photographer in Vietnam, I have a degree in Graphic Arts, and am just now leaping into the world of Digital Photography from Film Cameras, I traded in some of my film cameras(still have 15) for a Pentax K7(got a great deal on it it is a nice camera), and now a Nikon D7100(I jumped into this one ahead of myself but it will last me for a very long time and is an impressive tool), I also have a Canon EOS T3i which was given to me as a present(I have not had much practice on it yet but will be taking it out for a spin soon), all are great cameras and so far I can see the use for each of them for different situations, though the 7100 looks like it will be quite a workhorse
Welcome and thank you for your service.

We go to Maui every year in September. Reason? It's the best island on planet earth. The moment the plane lands, that second, we relax, unwind, and enter a hypnotic state. Nothing serious hits the nervous system. You're a lucky guy.
Welcome Terry!!!!! Now all you have to do is post some photos!

Welcome aboard Terry44 and thank you for serving our country. I was Navy myself from 68 to 74.
Just got back from two weeks in your absolutely stunning islands. We spent a week in Oahu, a day in Molokai and four days on the big island. Still going through the 3700 pictures my spouse and I took.
Looking foward to sharing with you.
Nothing finer than a vacation in the Hawaiian Islands. Back in 1998 my wife and I took our son to Maui for his graduation present from college (Purdue). We did some scuba diving with "Ed Robinson's Diving Adventure" just curious if they are still in business. We also did a bicycle trec with "Maui Downhill" are they still in operation. Look forward to your photos.
