I have just gotten back into photography after a few years' on the sidelines.
Have a Nikon D750 and a D300S, plus assorted Nikon lenses. I date back to Nikon F2s and Nikkormats.
I have Photoshop Elements 10 on my six-year-old iMac.
Elements 10 won't process RAW files. What would be the simplest RAW-processing software download that would run on my Mac OS X 10.11.6 computer, please?
Our Nikkor 28-70 f2.8 never worked. We bought it new in 2004 and we shipped it back to Nikon four times.
By "not worked" I mean the auto-focus would jam. It jammed on all of our Nikons: D1X, D100, D300, D750. and F4. At the time we ran three D100s and it jammed on every one, every time.
Nikon would send it back to us as "repaired" and we would go into the field and it would jam within ten minutes.
The lens cost upwards of $1,500.00.
Nikon now says it can't fix the lens because they can't get replacement parts.
Yes, it is heavy. And now it won't even focus manually. It is a great paper weight.
What a buy!
