I would like to know the PP software of choice and processes most of you use. Right now, I use the Nikon editing software and it is pretty robust, but I have noticed it is limited in various ways.
My goal is to get good results but NOT have to sit in front of my computer for hours to get a good look. I have a process for adding contrast and color- just wanting feedback from others.
I have to ask because no on has. How in the world did you get that close to tigers fighting like that!!!???
I get that you may have had a long lens, but what was your getaway strategy? You have more guts than me!!
Ok. So is it the composition, color, both... what? I am still learning.
This is what we do in Texas- work and play football!!
Just messing around in the yard and caught this. Tell me what you think.
Ray, Shooting basketball in gyms with different light sources is difficult. Natural light, fluorescent varying backgrounds- it is very tricky. At least your scene is a real gym. I have difficulty because our "gym" is an auditorium with dark/light areas that alternate.
These are really good shots with excellent lighting in the images. I know you are just questioning the different tones, but I would be happy to get clear shots like that.
Working at my job where we receive equipment on a daily basis certain times of the year broke me from keeping ALL boxes. I usually keep personal boxes of the smaller size, but everything else gets broken down and trashed.
I like the second one. It has more feel to it. Good work!!
Nice set. Can't go wrong with any of those shots.
If cameraguy ends up not getting them I will take them.
YOU HAVE GOT TO SHARE WHAT GEAR YOU ARE SHOOTING WITH. These are awesome.
Here are the originals. I guess I should have led with these. Ok... now fire away!!

Color is off. common mistake of overprocessing. composition needs improvement (read articles here in UHH). Pictures show your focus is off and camera shake. I've been taking pictures for over 50 years and am still critiquing my own work and learning every time I take a picture. Have fun.
I am beginning to learn that photography is a learning process and you need reading materials along with experience to do this.
Will be a life-long learner!!
