BTW i SPENT THE FIRST 18 OR SO years LIVING ON SOUTH FRANKLIN, fishing in the lake north of merrick rd adj to Central HS & never (except for swans and mallards, saw ducks like you photoed south in Watts Pond. ( remember swimming in that lake (10 cents, but we went over the fence) and we could not keep a front lawn because of the foot traffic from the LIRR station to the lake...& the smell of chlorine from the lake in the summer @ Franklin & Fairview.. whew

yeh, if you have "erased" the file name(s) now starts with "?" and the data locations are available to be written over, in that case some of the data may be salvaged, if you have formatted in MOST cases, the data is gone....

if you have reformatted the card, you just shot yourself in the foot, the data is gone.

there is a usb/hrd drive adapter that plugs into the back of your (removed) hadrdrive, it then becomes just another drive and you can use it for whatever.

well, if you think back, except for photos,(& if you can type) Windows was just a DOS minulapulater (sri for spelling), win3 wasnt even an operating sysytem..

I still remember the 52's and the 36's (6 turning 4 burning) over the 500 area @ Bliss, landing at Biggs. Quite often one of the turning ones was feathered... we usta hafta GI the tire marks offa the roof of Bldg 514. 
I earth googled bldg 514 and it still had the surplus radar mount we put on the roof to hold a 3 element 10 meter beam in March 1957. I dont know whether this is true or not, but we had a treaty with Mexico to overfly Juarez...

yeh, debrie on the runway, they discovered its source also but evenutally the hugh cost / loss put them out of business..

of you mean the concord, the sonic boom, along with the cost and the accident put 'em out of business.. one of the guys from work went, the cost was about $4k to the UK from JFK. could not fly over land because of the boom.
