If you are on Facebook, there is a group called "Photography of Northeast Oregon'. Some beautiful flat land and snow covered mountains etc. I post there also.
I was born in Astoria, Oregon back in the 40s. And yes there is a lot of scenery on the coast of Oregon. And that's all I knew growing up and into adulthood. Living and working in California, then being widowed and moving back to Oregon, remarried and living back on the coast. My wife was born in Baker City and desired to move back, which we did eventually with a lot of hesitation, then finding a new Oregon I never new existed. The sights never end or get old on the 45th parallel.
If I take a photo, I ask myself, could I frame it and put it in my house? My biggest critic is my lovely wife. She has an eye for things, and I need to listen to her. But, there are things I am drawn to that she isn't. So a photo sets a mood for me. I see that your photo set a mood for you, but in the second shot, the foreground was shortened. The barn and the tree cover most of the frame. So, I don't know if you had limited access to the area, or there were things you were trying to cut out? Barns are a unique subject unto themselves, and getting one that sets the right mood seems to be getting harder and harder.
As a kid, I used to play in a number of old unique barns that had character. I would like to see that again. There was a little more angle to yours, but framing with a different lens or something would bring more character to it.
Too bad it couldn't have been more angular, looks like rustic old barn.
Good shots, nice and clear.
No, the only thing was crop the bottom.
Thank you, living in Eastern Or. So much to shoot with a camera around here, I suppose I will be a pest with some of my photos. Thanks again for your comment.
Shot with a vintage Nikon 300mm lens on my D5600.
Nice shots, brings out good color and shape.
Amazing color, like last one best. Backgrounds for horses can be tricky, still working on that myself.
Amazing photos, great eye for color and form.
Very good! Was the wasp alive for the photo?
Nice color and composition, great job!
I have the LG 40v thin Q.
I would buy it again, 5 camera. Wide angle, normal and telephoto. Two selfies I guess, panoramic etc. Great pics and plenty of storage. Photo good as many Nikons I have.
I did a 12x18 print with my own wood frame, took it to the only place in town, had them do it all, with the mat to my specs. $31.00
