I like #6 best too. Really like your capture of his flight in this one and like the background too. All are really nice but I think in 6 the bird stands out more than in the other images.

5 keeps drawing my eye, but from a technical standpoint I think 6 is your winner

These are all really great shots. My favorite is #8 because it is the perfect portrait. Next I like #3 with the reflection in the water.

Well, Vic here goes, just remember these are my personal opinions and they are worth what you pat for them. # 1 Not a really good background and you just missed the focus on the eye, which is usually critical. #2 Interesting feather detail, but again I don't care for the background. #3 is great with the reflection and the feathers, but you can only almost see the eye. #4 is a cool pose, but again the eye doesn't do it for me. #5 is nice but it doesn't stand out very strongly from the background. #6 is VERY good. I like it a lot! #7 is very good. I like the light through the wing feathers.#8 is a Fine Portrait but with a little blue cast to the feathers. Not being a proficient post processor, I don't know what you could do to fix that, but probably not too difficult. #9 is a good shot and #10 is a good one too. Bottom line...I would be proud to call any of them mine but for a competition I would go with #6, #7, #3, and #8 in that order. Again JMHO.
