Thanks for this information. For me this was very helpful.
The only photo editing tool that I have used is Nikon Capture NX2. After learning how to use it I thought it worked quite well.

I have a Nikon D800. And work with Nikon RAW files.

If you wouldn't mind, would you please comment on the good, the bad, and the ugly associated with Nikon Capture NX2.

Lightroom 5 or Nikon Capture NX2?

NX2 has a learning curve. But it seems to me to be a very good photo editor. And it has the batch mode to help speed editing and RAW to JPEG conversions.........

Wanting to know what people are using to process their photos

I use Nikon Capture NX2. I seems to do everything that I need it to. There is a bit of a learning curve. But I expect that's always the case.
Does anyone else use this? How do you think it compares to other software programs?
