Interestingly, the second shot was one using the HDR Backlight Control (Scene) setting which combines three frames.

That's great. Perhaps a share of the image?

I knew Uranus was to be in the FOV (w/i 1.5 degrees or so), but had difficulty getting a decent exposure of the Moon that would also allow me to see any stars in the background until around the 6 a.m. time of this shot. I used Stellarium, my go-to software for most things of this nature, to confirm that the labeled spot was in fact Uranus.

Just at the top of the frame... I did get better images of the moon, but not with that dot in frame.

That's nice - I was shooting with the same setup (but a t6i) and went back to my photos to see if I had captured Uranus - I did! Thanks.

There are talks about eliminating WWVB radio station that send the signal to your clock to save $27 million a year.

I find it disappointing that so often reduction or elimination of service is considered "cost control", such as reducing package sizes, miniaturization of airplane seats, or eliminating USPS overtime. A lot of people depend on certain services and they should be asked about such proposals without autonomous executive action. If I need to pay more, fine, but don't just wreck the service.

This moonset photo from October 10 is looking to the West from Boulder, Colorado. The Indian Peaks are part of the Continental Divide. The next full moon, on November 8 (election day!) will have an eclipse, much more challenging to photograph.

I saw a huge tour bus make that turn in 2019. It was a real event, with repeated back-and-forth movement with maybe a foot to spare. How did you get up onto that bridge?

Most people are kind and want to return any lost gear. If they know your name and phone number it would help them to reach out to you, which is why I label my stuff. There are opportunistic thieves, though...

We had visitors from Wisconsin recently so we took them to YNP. One quickly forgets how much driving you have to do if you only have three days to cover the park. Always nice to see the park again.

These are nice shots! I just got back from a trip that included Iceland and I got to see Geyser which lends its name to all other volcanic fountains. It is just - lame - compared to Yellowstone, and even the pathways are a big disappointment.

On a tangent here - I find it annoying when songs that are linked (no break) between tracks on the vinyl original are played separately in a streaming service or library playlist. I feel like I am left hanging...

It all looks so close on the map... LOL - stay close to Denver and the Pikes peak region, or extend your itinerary.

This year saw the return of a Boulder, Colorado favorite event - the World's Shortest St. Patrick's Day Parade. At only one block in length, it probably does hold that distinction. The parade started at Noon and the sun was at my back. The first shot shows the entire route, clockwise around those cones. The lawn chair drill team looks much more impressive on video, as do the young ladies dancing. There was much silliness - the hula gals made me crave a corned beef and pineapple pizza!

The first camera I really used was Polaroid Swinger. I was about 12 years old and sold action golf shots for $1 on a public 9 hole golf course. I found I could make more money in an hour than delivering newspapers all week.

"Meet the Swinger; Polaroid Swinger. Swing it up - it says YES - take the shot!" I was ambitious with it, even figuring out how to take a multiple exposure shot of a lunar eclipse. Mine was lost to time but I recently bought a replacement on eBay for old time's sake.
