May take some tweaking but damned nice.

I am a gem cutter and a member of the USFG. United States Faceting Guild. I have just found a product that makes photoing gems and jewelry easy and fast with good results. Gem Zoom. It is 65 bucks and clips on your cell phone. Believe it or not its wonderful. Just thought I would throw it out there.
i photograph skin lesions. Wonder if this would be helpful in that aspect. Will give it a try. Thanks

24MP image (6000x4000). If you want to print at 300ppi, this would print to 20x13-inches. The same image (same location, same distance, same focal length, sensor format) with a 54MP camera (9000x6000) would print to 30x20-inches at the same 300ppi.
Is there a formula you use to calculate these enlargement figures? Or just experience?
Thanks

Those mirrors are the chains holding back our photography.
OK. Almost spit my coffee out my nose on that one.
Thanks!
Thx for all the suggestions.
Thx. I didn't even know that was an option.
While I usually have PS open and can read the EXIF data there, does anyone have a recommendation for a good stand alone EXIF data reader for Windows 10?
thanks
I have never really used profiles and am considering that in photoshop CC. I usually edit in RAW. I was trying to make one with a program called Color Checker Camera Calibration and well, failed. Also tried to downlod some free and can't figure that out either. I know Im turning 72 so maybe just not so sharp anylonger but been on computers since the days of Floppies so, I think i know what I'm doing.
Anyone have any opinion as to the use of presets, good or bad? If worth the effort, WTH am i doing wrong that I can't get them?
Thanks
for Canon, my go to macro lens is a 100 L series, 2.8 with image stabilization. I have a very short macro lens from canon with a built in lamp ring, but that is for set ups where I bring something into the house and make a real settin but in the field, as close as i need to get, is just not every going to be my "go-to"
No longer even sure what card inhave in there. I use topaz denoise.
i use an older but still pretty quick desk top computer. It's an original I7 3770K with 32 Gig ram. Photoshop runs well as does topaz until I tell Topaz to "Apply" my changes. that can take 10 minutes at times. Would a good graphics card help? If so, any suggestions. I uses PS CC 2020
