might be hard but if you could get some outside shots if they have a garden or something with the people out there.. if your friend is bedridden it is probably not possible to have him in the shot unfortunately.. but then you have more space and better lighting plus more flexibility in your shot.. maybe a group shot with jasper in the middle like a sports team and he is the mascot type of deal..
thanks.. it's funny that kid is from one thing to another can't sit still but give him legos (just found this out over xmas) and he will sit there for hours.. and yes it is mouth wash for medicinal purposes only, he has a prescription - yeah that's it, lol..
You gotta be a fish guy if you have a Moray Eel in your tank.
I thought guppies were top of the line.

and great shots - i don't see any glare and i think that guy you saw was a 1 upper.. he was trying to upper decker you.. not sure how flash would work unless you were in the water..
and cheapest fish to get for a kid's aquarium? feeder fish at about $0.25 each..
flashlight is an excellent idea.. are you hand holding the flashlight and tripod on the camera or do you place the flash light on a table or something? I was thinking about using some work lights to try to do so stuff..
1st one has a little bit too many shadows in it for me. I would like to see the stem and base of the glass a bit more, there is a shadow on the banana on the right that detracts from the photo. I am ok with the shadow from the bottle on the wall. The 2nd photo is picture perfect.
nice work literally taking another's junk (or maybe your own) and turning it into a treasure.. and great idea to shoot this subject matter because at least where I am on this planet we call earth there is no shortage of junk..
