Beautiful! Yeah this is something similar to what one pic I want to do with a dark back ground and just be able to see the from of her. U know not to use my flash with that shot and use natural lighting. Ur daughter is beautiful btw. I have a Coolpix b500 camera which zooms in very closely .

Ty . The railroads in our area no longer work anymore. They don't use them as they did back then. I would never do this on my own as my husband would be with me. Ty for ur advice it's much appreciated.

What is the best settings or ways to do head shots.. Im going to be doing my daughters senior pictures to save money soon. As she graduates in May.. Time is coming way to fast for me and shes off to collage. Im trying to find the best settings to do head shots on her that wont look cheezy or coming out wrong with every shot. Im all new to this but ive always took pictures of myself but not of other people. I have a good camera now and I dont have to work with a webcam or cell phone anymore. I want this to be special andI think I got the lighting down pat on how to do that. Its the setting on which one is better to do them with. I want to be able to blur the background a little bit with her head shot. Like taking a pic on the rail road tracks. I want the background to be seen but not fully. Im not sure how to do this. ive downloaded apps that i can blur a back ground that way but i want it done naturally.

Im here to learn more cause I want to be able to do this regularly . Maybe I can make some money doing it. Depends how I do my daughters . THANKS

Picture of my dog Zues . Hes just the cutest thing

Ty I appreciate ur response. I keep hearing about aperture but I've looked through everything on my camera settings and can't find it. I set my ISO to 125-400 no higher and takes good pics. I'm trying to save money to get a tripod . Want to get one with a remote cause I know by touching the camera can cause it to shake .I want to make sure my daughter's senior pictures to be great as they will be used on her invatations. I am so willing to learn anything I can. There r apps I found that will buy ur photos if they choose them. I use capital letting on my laptop so I don't have to keep hitting shift to do a capital letter lol that way all letters r capital . I'm on my cell now so I normally type short hand at times..I thank u for u tips it's very much appreciated!!

MY HUSBAND BAUGHT ME A COOLPIX B500 CAMERA.. THE MOST EXPENCIVE ONE I EVER HAD .CAUSE IT WAS SOMETHING IVE BEEN WANTING FOR YEARS. SO FOR MY BIRTHDAY HE GOT ME ONE. I WANTED TO DO MY DAUGHTERS GRADUATION PICTURES BUT NOT SURE REALLY HOW. IM A BEGINNER AT THIS. BUT I AM WILLING TO LEARN ALL I CAN. I WILL SUCCEED.. IF ANYONE HAS ANY ADVICE TO HOW I CAN TAKE THE PICTURES AND COME OUT WELL IM ALL EARS. I WANT THESE TO BE GREAT.

I DO HAVE ONE ISSUE WITH TAKING PICS THOUGH . THE CAMERAS SENCITIVITY IS HIGH AND SOME REASON ITS REALLY SHAKY WHEN IM TAKING THE PICS. IT SHOWS IN A FEW PHOTOS BUT IT DOESNT COME OUT THAT WAY. HOW CAN I CHANGE THAT. I HAVE TRIED THE SETTINGS BY TAKING A PICTURE USING ALL OF THE ISO AND ONLY 2 COME OUT RIGHT.. AND WHAT IS THE BEST TO SET MY CAMERA ON FOR FOCUSING.?

NICE TO MEET EVERONE . YOU HAVE NOW BECOME MY TEACHERS.LOL

Hello my name is Dulcina and i have always had an interest at taking pics.. i always did my own and got so many compliments about them. I've always wanted a good camera to take better pictures. Well my husband got me one that cost a good bit of money for us . I wanted to take my oldest daughters senior pictures. I'm not sure what to do though. if anyone has any advice i'm all ears.

about me :I have been with my high school sweet heart for 22 years now. married it will be 8 years this year. We have 2 beautful girls. Both teens (god help me) lol.. We have lived a poverty life but manage to get by. All my life my family struggled. But i count my blessings everyday. My husband found out years ago that he had mesothelioma lung cancer and was in remission for years after.. But we just found out its back and may have spread. I dont think i could ever live without him. He is my rock. I pray he gets through this and fights just as hard.

other hobbies are scrapbooking and culligraphy and tarot cards. i am gifted in the spirit world . You would be amazed at what i know about the after life and heaven . As i have been there. I lost my mother 9 years ago. after i had gullbladder surgery and died on the table. i went to heaven and there was my mother telling me to go back its not my time. i was needed here. i didnt want to come back cause the peace u feel is undiscribable . it cant be explained the right way on how you feel when that peace hits u. colors you never saw before.. so bright and vibrent. it still amazes me!! I got into taking pictures many years. ago and loved to fix them up. now i have a better camera and i will put it to work. ive missed so many memories i could have gotten.. thanks to income tax my husband was able to get me a camera for my bday next month..I am blessed to have him as he followed me my whole life lol.. gotta love him.

its nice to meet everyone of u. and look forward to amy advice anyone could give me.. heres a pic i have taken hope u like it !! on a coolpix B500 camera
