Today we visited Tenikwa Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre near Plettenberg Bay in South Africa. Three years ago I took the male and female Cheetahs for their early morning walk. Could only book a private visit to photograph the cats today, due to my big broken toe being a pain......
It was great to meet the two Cheetahs again, did they remember me? I was allowed to go inside the Cheetah enclosure.
The White Lion is not an Albino.
Hope you enjoy these pussy cats.

Wonderful shots. I love big cats.
How beautiful they are, and you've certainly captured the personality, Sylvia. I hope your toe heals quickly!
Beautiful set, Sylvia. Nice to see wild animals in surroundings somewhat similar to their natural habit. Hope your toe is better soon. If they put me in a cage with those cats, I'd be the first 75 year old man to win a gold medal for running.

A stunning set, Sylvia--that lens has proven to be a winner for you.

Wonderful shots!! #2 and #5 are a little terrifying though. The lion is obvious but the leopard looks like he knows your toe is hurt and you're trespassing! Gary
Wonderful pictures - the white lion is gorgeous!

Excellent set! I agree with gwr that 2&5 are exceptional. If I were put inside an enclosure at the mercy of cats like these I would want to be shooting a cannon instead of my canon. Thanks for sharing, get well.
WOW, I am so envious! to be so upclose and get such fantastic captures of the cats while they are able to walk about in a somewhat natural setting. Are they in rehab due to injury? and will be re-introduced to their natural area? Or are they kept here for protection? the albino lion is absolutely gorgeous!!.
