This sounds like HDR but in monochrome. It's called Rich tone mono on my a-mounts.

Easily overlooked. We were in the parking area admiring the lake when a man on a golf cart offered us a ride to the dam. Didn't even know there was a dam there. This was the tallest dam in the world when completed in 1910.

If you're on Utah I-70 and want to drive down to Arches, do you take 191 or 128. We chose the later. The last image is at the junction of 191 and 128.
