I have a Canon Macro Ring Lite MR-14 EX in pristine condition money back guarantee for $275.
Thank you all for your advice. It was really helpful. I do have "Understanding Exposure" by Bryan Peterson and that was what prompted me to ask for help. The first exercise is to set manual mode at f/5.6 and then change the shutter speed till you get a "correct exposure" reading from the camera. I just needed to know where the meter was. Now I know and will use it.
Thanks to All
Bill
Thanks for the reply. What I am wondering is if there is a way to set the d7000 to indicate whether there is the correct light for a good picture of a scene with no motion. It does have a light meter that works in other modes.
Thanks
If I am working in Manual mode and set my D7000 to f 5.6 how do I know what the right shutter speed is?
Thanks
Are you shooting in jpg or raw? Also when you change the settings how do you prevent moving the camera even with a tripod?
Thanks,
This is the most straight forward way to do it. It worked perfectly. Wouldn't it be better to do 5 raw at EV1? And if not, then why do 5 at all?
Is there a way to increase the number of shots beyond the three that my Nikon D7000 allows in bracketing mode?
Thanks
Bill :)
Nikonlad, Thanks, very helpful. How do I program them.

How do you turn on the overexposed warning called "Blinkie"?
Hi everyone,
I have a Nikon D 7000 and would like to buy a used Macro lens. I am looking on E bay and there are several Nikon 105mm f 2.8 lenses for sale but some have a D after them and some have Al - S AlS after.
So my question is are there different editions and variations to the Nikon 105mm f2.8 and which is the best?
Thanks
Bill
