Wonder if those apparently dead trees are a result of it getting hotter, or drier, or both in Death Valley?
Looks like an easy way to glide something heavy somewhere...
Adding my two cents, it looks like a small pig, either on it's side or folded..to me.

As an old Panhandle "kracker", holed up with this virus, sure could get into that picture.. Thanks
Definitely a fan of B&W, but in this case, I believe the color gives life to the grasses...
Havana, Fl. is halfway between Tallahassee and the Georgia line on US 27. Made it's name growing and processing shade grown tobacco. Was of excellent quality and used in the final wrap of fine cigars. That industry is long gone. Havana is mostly artsy/gift shops now. Relies on visitors. Nice town to live in for last 40 yrs. Bye the way, my years in the Navy was a big deal to me. Along the way, was a combat photographer with Marines in Vietnam off the Iwo Jima (LPH-2). Did a lot of flying too. CH-34's, Huey's, AD's (two seaters). Glad your guys were taking care of us...Nice to meet you too.
Hey Chief, Old Photomate here. Grew up in Winter Park in the 40's-50's. Moved away in the 60's. No idea where Black Point Drive is? No mention here on the scroll either. Never seen a stilt, but sure do like the portrait...
Very nice photograph. Is that a Gardenia?
Thanks for answering my question.
One of my favorite animals. Very majestic. Don't know how you got that close, but that is a great series of photos...
In my drinking days..Loved the "George Dickel" Tenn. sipping whiskey. Toward the end of those days, I really enjoyed some Remy Martin..Very nice presentation and shot..so to speak.
Viewed Mount Etna from several perspectives in the past. This is an outstanding photograph. Wish I had seen it from there..
