Ok I understand, I didn't know if the lipstick was planned for the picture or not. She is a gorgeous little girl, you are blessed!

She is very pretty, but on a seven year old, I am not sure about the lip stick.....they grow up fast enough as it is. I hope she had a wonderful time at the party! :)

So, on the side facing the subjects face, possibly say 20 degrees from the backdrop? Thank you for answering my questions, I appreciate it!

Rhonda -- Front lighting only against a backdrop might create a flat or one dimensional end product. Suggest you consider adding a backlight or small "rimlight" behind and off to one side of the subject to pop them out from the background. If done properly it will give your picture dimension and depth.

I have it and love it! But, I am always careful not to over use because it can distort the subjects face. How do you make it a plug in to PS so I dont have to switch back and forth?

I will be taking my first senior tux and drape pictures next week. I am looking for any advice.....I have one gray backdrop that I dislike, so I am debating on buying a new one, or was thinking about just changing it's appearance in PS. My lighting should be center, then two at 45 degrees with my subject about 8 ft. from the backdrop, correct?
