James Woods has become quite outspoken as of late. I assume he isn’t getting any work in Hollywood because of it...

Not true. I always have something to add. In this case, trying to better influence your grammar.

I’m a bit surprised that you would bark liberal at me. Especially considering my avatar picture. To relieve the pressure on your mind, I’m a Republican. I v**ed for and CONTINUE to support my President. I’m also a NRA member that has a lifetime membership.

Not only is your accusation not fair but your grammar is deplorable.

Perjury today

Whether you believe who should be tired or not the message at the bottom of the picture sure seems to be the way it is in our justice system today?

I'm curious as to how your grammar achieved a High School Diploma. I h**e for that to sound mean and I want to help. Let's take a further look at the details of the sentence structure.

By using the phrase "who should be" and "to be", you are using a passive voice. In other words, an active voice makes it clear who is doing what. In an active sentence, the person that is acting is the subject. Passive sentences obscure or omit the sentence subject. Use passive voice when the sentence object is more important than the subject. The active voice is generally easier to read.

Moving on from the general structure, you mention "tired." Who is "tired?" Or, did you mean tried? Having mentioned that, the sentence does not lend itself to the idea of question, although the sentence does end in a question mark. The sentence begins with loose statement that has no real direction or association to a person.

I would like to recommend a different statement. How about: "Tried or not, the message at the bottom of the picture seems to be the way of our justice system today."

Notice how nothing was actually added to the original sentence. Instead, abbreviated! Easier to read and comprehend.

Obama screwed up big time in so many ways but his pussified behavior allowed you to feel like he was doing something.

As a Trump supporter, I’m gonna bite on this one. No, I didn’t / don’t like Obama. Having said that, during his tenure in office, he did relax Federal gun laws. Carrying on trains, Federal parks, etc, etc.

Here’s a little tip for you, though I think I agree with what you seem to be saying: Proof read your post before you send it.

Always.

Thanks for replying.

I don't post here often and there are various reasons. However, thank you for COMPLETELY beating me to this punch line. It's quite obvious that both sides of this are very passionate about their view. So passionate, that very basic grammar sk**ls are being disregarded in favor of making a quick post. If cooler heads could prevail, real discussions (read that as debate) would happen.

Oddly enough, even though I feel both sides have already kicked the proverbial dead horse, I'll toss my $0.02 in...

Maintenance items to address: Yes, I'm firearms enthusiast, I'm Republican (mostly), and I v**ed for Trump. My wife and I both have our CHL. I travel extensively for my job and like the insurance of knowing she can protect and / or defend the family (we have five children 18, 17, 13, 9, 8) in my absence.

Having said that, I have attended the Ohio H****r Education course four times. Once myself, and once with each of the three oldest children when they respectively reached the age of 12. I'll also attend an additional two times when the younger two are old enough. Why? Because the primary principle of the course is to teach gun safety. We are not a "hunting family" but we very much are a "communicate openly with our kids family."

When you remove the curiosity from children, they are smarter and safer. I'm sure I'll get flamed for the analogies, but..."Don't touch the oven." "Look both ways before crossing the street." "Don't talk to strangers." "If you're at a friends house and "Timmy" pulls out a gun; run away. Leave." "If you see something, hear something, know something than say something." All reasonable advice for anyone of any age.

The point of my rant (should you choose to call it that) is communication. More people need to listen first, talk later. A close friend of mine says: "The good Lord (If that is your belief.) gave us two ears and one mouth for a reason. We should listen twice as much as we speak."

I love America and it's a great country to call home. I thank and appreciate the service of any person who has served to defend The F**g, our freedoms, our liberty, and the tyranny being experienced by others. I also appreciate the fact that anyone can hide behind a keyboard and wield the grammatical prowess of a 3rd grader, spewing any misinformation they recently digested on any left-wing or right-wing website (Yes, there are crazies on both sides.). Those same people have the right to post their poor grammar lies for all the world to see and then burn Old Glory...while posting it YouTube. All freedoms guaranteed by The Constitution, protected those who choose to serve (and some who didn't choose in Vietnam), and often overlooked by the angriest citizens of America...the ones who choose to speak more than they listen.

Thank you for sharing the original post and thanks to those (on both sides) who actually have a cooler head. Wouldn't it be great if all this was one big April Fools joke?!?

Ditto. I purchased a Dell allienware. A bit over kill but will be able to grow with more demanding software in the future. You should look at the Dell XPS models. That would leave you more $ for a goodonitor & extended warranty. Have fun.

I recently purchased a Dell XPS and love it. The screen on it is a 4K infinity edge and covers 188% of the sRGB color gamut. Perfect for LR or PS.

Excellent advice Jerry!

The 28-300 is a razor sharp all-purpose lens. In addition, I would add the 50mm 1.4, and the 70-200 2.8 (which can be found used and in great condition for reasonable $$). You could stop with those 3 and click off a ton of great pics. A couple of older lenses that I have on my D750 (and love!!) are the 35-70 2.8 and the 28-105 3.5-5.6

Jan,

Beautiful. These pics take me back to my childhood. I was fortunate enough to have a father who grew up in Luray and had family in Sperryville. From Front Royal to Afton, we lived along Skyline Drive every summer and I loved every minute of it. Every year we would stop at Fisher Gap to take the same picture of us, making the same face, in the same family order. Cheesy to most people, but they are traditions and memories I cherish.

Is the "Red Barn" still standing? Its down in the valley. If you are heading south and have past Big Meadows, I believe its the 2nd or 3rd overlook. My father also always took a photo of that, like clockwork, every year. Red barn, white trimmings...

Thank you for sharing!

I did find it quite interesting and I have no idea the dynamics of it. I've tried to do some research on it but have not turned up much. I do not believe it to be a unique phenomena, however it is not something I have seen before.

Lowepro Flipside 400AW

I love that bag. So much so that I had to review it on Amazon. It is the perfect bag for me.

I had originally ordered an Ape Case Pro medium DSLR backpack. Nice pack, built well. Too heavy and wouldn't accommodate the gear I wanted to take.
