A little bit of a smile, and a new hat would have done wonders to this shot.

If you are insinuating that the weather here in SC is too hot in July and August, you are mistaken.
It's so miserable here that people from New Jersey and New York are moving here in droves,
We should build a wall on SC northern border to keep you guy's out. (but Biden would cancel that)

Enjoy your day in the snow and shivering cold,

A much better single malt Scotch is the 15 year old Dalwhinnie, about $88.00 for a 750 ml bottle.
Another very good every day Scotch is Old Smuggler, about $20.00 for a 1.75 ml bottle.
Either Scotch, sitting in the sun, watching the ocean, smoking a great Brick House Cigar can not
be beaten.

Trapper,

As a professional photographer for several years, I've owned cameras of every description.
Now that I'm 86 years old I couldn't think about not owning a camera.
I purchased a Panasonic Lumix DC-ZS70 bridge camera. Has more features then I will ever use.
Has a very sharp Leica lens with a range of 24MM to 720 MM. And if I'm not mistaken, B & H Photo
had them on sale during the holidays for $299.00. A great buy for a great camera.

The Panasonic XS-70 will shoot in raw, also has live view and a viewfinder
that changes automaticly when you move your head to use the viewfinder.

I have the Panasonic DC-70 that has a fantastic Leica 24-720 mm lens.
Will do everything you'll ever want. I think you can still buy one new from
Panasonic at about $350. A little too big for the pocket, but a great small
travel camera.

This is a great shot! The red Kayak pulls your eyes right to it. it shows how big the falls are and how small the Kayak is. not at all over saturated. Again, Great shot!

I agree with retap. The Panasonic ZS70 with it's Leica Lens (24-720 MM), is a fantastic camera
and it's well within your price range Direct from Panasonic or KEH.

bsprague suggested the Olympus TG-6 which will be a bit more then what you wanted to spend, but also a great choice.

You are taking way too much gear, most of which you will never use. You'll be spending too much
time selecting what to use, and not enough time enjoying the cruise. My last few cruises I took
a Panasonic DC-ZS70/90, and never missed a shot. With it's long reach you won't either. With it's
Leica lens (24 mm to 720 mm), you will not be able to tell the difference between it and any quality
DSLR. Take your battery charger, a spare battery and a couple of memory cards. Travel Light and
enjoy the trip.

We've taken about nine cruises and took a Canon T6i and a few lenses.
The last few cruises, we've taken a Panasonic ZS70 and never missed a shot.
I suggest you do the same.

Agree with you 100%. these knit pickers need to get a life. The photos may have been around
sever times, but I have never seen them. It was a great effort on his part to put them together.
Lighten up y'all.
