Was the card locked? My card was stuck in the lock position when I had this problem.

My D-50 did that after not using it for quite sometime. After much frustration I realized that unlike my d90 it was not able to use higher than a 2GB card. What size card are you using? I might suggest trying a smaller capacity card. Good luck!

Jim unfortunately we will miss the flyin by a week but we are doing the seaplane tour. We will definitely "drive around" to see the local area.

Al I'm thinking, especially with two young children, it may be safer to do one of the tours to see Moose. Perhaps we may see some on the roads as well. My biggest fear is seeing one as its hit with our car😳 We are going to be extremely careful.

I asked my girls yesterday what they were most looking forward to seeing and while my 4 year old gave me the expected answer of a Moose my 10 year olds answer took me by surprise. She is looking forward to the military B-52 crash site at Elephant Mountain. I think this is going to be a great trip!

Pigpen, I've heard that from several people but we don't have passports. Next time we will do that for sure.
