Brilliant, great advice sir.
Im trying to follow all your suggestions.
Just planning another trip to your magnificent country in February 2019.
Just love the USA.
I have two, never a problem. been using 1 for over 3 years and the other for around 1 year.
Just reading these is giving me itchy feet, I feel like I need to come back.
You guys are so lucky living in the USA, my favourite country to visit by miles.

No tours in Zion except maybe the horse back ride if you want to call it that. I live in St. George and never seen a tour. Much of the canyon is not accessible by car and you need to plan on hiking. That is where the real beauty is. The main canyon is closed from Easter to after Labor Day because of to many people, there is a bus shuttle that get you where you want to go. It getS too congested from all of the traffic, it is really a small canyon accessible wise. Kolob is another canyon which is about 50 miles away by automobile. Very pretty but smallish, CANYON WISE.

Agree totally with above, I was there in September 2017 for the 3rd time. Stunning area. I also visited Kolob and it is definitely worth the ride if you have time.
Enjoy
The main thing is that you like it, so do I as it happens. Great work
What a magnificent shot, Yosemite is one of my favourite locations, been 5 times now and never sicken of the place.
I live in the UK and I am planning to visit the USA again in September.
Will have to fit Yosemite in again.
Great shot.
Hi, I have just purchased the OMD EM 5 mkII with the 12-40 pro lens.
So far the results are very good, it is very different to the EOS 5D/3 that I am currently using but so far I am happy with it.
The in-body stabilisation of the Olympus is awesome.
I have a selection of Canon L lenses which I intended to use with my EM 5 II but the whole purpose of changing was to drop my kit weight.
If I use the Canon glass I am not loosing too much of that weight so for me it looks as if all of my Canon gear will be sold and a total swap tp 4/3 is on the cards.
Hope this helps.
Sorry I cant comment on the Sony gear but I am sure it will be OK.
I upgraded from 7D to 5D/3 about 3 years ago, great improvement although it is a heavy beast but go for it
Thank you, we visited last year and toured around Yosemite, Zion, Death Valley, Page where I shot Antelope Canyon, wanted to go to Monument valley and Arches but time (and cash) prevented this. We finished off with a little R&R in Vegas. Just love your country, must have visited 12+ times and I still yearn to go back.
We are trying to do Yellowstone next year but now I will just have to extend my trip a little longer to fit in Arches and wherever else.
The internal flights in the US are so cheap compared to Europe so we will just fly to main areas and drive the rest.
Good job I have an understanding wife.
Very best regards
Must visit next year as planning another USA trip, great image
