I’m learning a whole bunch from all the responses, by so many helpful people, to my request. As to it being slower: How is it slower?

With both a d7100 and a d7200 in inventory, I will look at the 16-80. Thank you!

Thank you all for your time and advice. The main reason I want a smaller camera is so I can just enjoy the trip, and not have to concern myself with the inconvenience of lots of camera stuff. This is likely to be the trip of a lifetime, not just a photo opportunity. Just want to enjoy the trip. Photos, while important, would be secondary. Thank you ALL again

In 2021 my wife and I are planning to take a 2-3 week trip to Europe. I’d like to focus on the trip, and not lug my overweight bag with my Nikon D850, lenses, flash, etc. Can anyone suggest a single camera, that’s easy to carry with good image quality? I’d prefer a camera with a viewfinder and one lens, preferably zoom. I’ve had pocket Canon and Nikon cameras, but not in the last 10 years or so. Not sure what the current state of that art is. Please give me your thoughts. Thank you!
Interesting. Just before I posted my question, I was on the Canon website and both the 10 and the 100 were out of stock, and another post I read indicated they were no longer being manufactured.
In a recent post there was discussion about Canon printers. I am a long time Canon printer user and presently have the PRO-100. I went to the Canon website, and it appears from the website, and the forum comments, that Canon is no longer making the PIXMA Pro-10 or PIXMA Pro-100, leaving only the ImagePROGRAF 1000 listing for $1300.00. Does anybody have any insight into whether Canon is abandoning this segment of the market or are they replacing it with an as-yet unreleased models?

I have been using Canon inkjet printers for a while now. Currently I have the PRO-100 and the TS9120. I notice that the newer versions of the pixma series, including the TS9521 use 5 ink tanks, instead of six and thus no longer use "photo blue", which replaced gray if I remember correctly.
Is there any significance to this change by Canon?
