Your images are one of the real treats on this site! Thanks!!
A great series in many ways. Thank you!
Wonderful set! The intense, sharp eyes are great. I wouldn't want to be the gazelle it's targeting.

Great set. Must have been a great day!
A "snowbird"! We're used to seeing that bird while hiking at 6,000 feet in the Sierra Nevada in the Summer. Nice shot.
Great shot AND you enjoyed the time spent getting it! A bonanza!
Great captures. Hard to get the color right on those birds.
They seem to be all over the Sacramento Valley right now. We've had scores at Lake Solano on the West side.
We can all share your pain of the "almost" got it photo. We could probably fill an "Almost" section on the forum with some interesting images.

Great to see Monarchs on the coast! Hopefully they are making a comeback.
A great preview for us - it's on our schedule for next April!
Wonderful set! Glad you found the critters!
Interesting. I just took a photo of your photo and ran it through Merlin - it came up with Kildeer. Kildeer are in the plover family. I've never heard of a Common Large Plover, and can't find it in a couple of lists of North American plovers.
