On my third whisky assembling toys....after looking had to run to the bathroom, so I would say it worked....now that my stomach is clear I can focus and get finished, can't think of anything I'd rather be doing besides admiring your images magnetoman.

Compositionally well done Walt...leaving the tiny bit of sky in the reflection helped me come to grips with the hill behind....

I'll say yes the leaf is dark enough...If the back ground give you some sense of place then leave it as is..otherwise I agree with ebrunner about the darker areas...a pleasant image.

Well done, a few tiny nitpic lighting areas but very hard to notice...

If your asking if your image is overdone I don't think so...your subject though, is falling out of the focus plain....a smaller aperture could help.

Just went over the EXIF data. Nothing unusual about settings other than it was shot in Auto. came as a surprise as I usually shoot in shutter priorty. Must have set it to auto by mistake--maybe I should shoot in auto more often. It was shot JPEG. When I said SOOC I meant that I didn't play with sliders in post
Sorry I don't communicate well, I just meant that their are usually software settings in the camera that act like sliders in post so to speak, such as vivid, bold, or twilight, ect. which will effect how you "sooc" image will look....

I'll just say sooc doesn't really mean much....depends on what settings the camera has been set to, all images have been processed to some extent....but this subject has been beat to death. Your first image is very well done.....

Well done...can't say what to change about it but the back ground lower left I find distracting....

Edit: after reflecting a bit more, and some experimentation I found reducing the red in the area closest to her face to a more neutral tone helped a great deal....it appears for a first attempt you are well on your way....

Just spectacular work Thomas902....can't say why but #3 has the most impact for me....anyone that doesn't download and inspect these images is missing out on lessons from a master.....
