No, it does not necessarily mean the person who lives there is a gun owner. It also does not not necessarily mean the persons who live there are patriotic. I fly my f**g on every federal holiday and do own a gun (a 1920 model Winchester 22cal rifle). Am I patriotic? Yes I am, and I am very pleased with the results of the last e******n.

I currently own two lenses that would work well for you. The first is a AFS24-70 f2.8 Nikkor, and the second (which will be much less expensive) is a AFS24-120 f3.5-5.6G Nikkor. I bought both of them used and have had no problems with the manual focus on either of them.

Does anyone else think it is ironic that both Sean Connery and Honor Blackman both died in the same year?

Hawaii and Arizona do not use Daylight Savings time, so if you do not want to change your clocks twice every year you could move to one of those two places.

Hello Sandy and welcome to the club. Those are beautiful photos that show how lovely the ‘Ocean State’ is. I lived in Narragansett for three years in the early 1980’s while I worked as an electrician helping to build Millstone Unit III in Waterford, CT. I have many fond memories of your beautiful state. I took the attached photo with my Nikon EM with a 50mm F1.8 lens attached on Kodacolor 200ISO film.

My first DSLR was a D80 since I had been shooting with Nikon for many years and had a lot of Nikkor lenses. Five years ago I upgraded to a D610 and am still very happy with it. If you are still considering upgrading to a crop sensor Nikon, I would recommend the D500.

I keep getting e-mails in my 'Junk' E-mail box that claim to be from Fedex stating that they cannot deliver a package to me because the cannot verify my address. I have always deleted them without answering them because I assumed they were bogus phishing messages. I have lived at the same address for the last 45 years and have not had any problems with my packages being delivered. Am I correct in assuming that these are scam Emails?

I currently own the D7500 with Tamron 150-600mm. Love the camera, I know it’s a crop sensor. Looking for a full frame camera and happened to find a good deal on Nikon D610. Wondering what everybody thought and was hoping I could still use my Tamron lens til I could afford an FX lens

I have owned my D610 for five years and am very happy with it. It does everything I have asked it to do and I took the attached photo with a Tamron 150-600mm lens four years ago.

The nuclear power industry never recovered from this disaster, which took place forty-one years ago today. "The Great Courses Plus" has a brief presentation about it.

As a Journeyman Wireman and retired member of the IBEW, I spent nearly half of my 40 year career building, repairing and updating nuclear power plants in three states. As all of us who have worked in the industry know, happened at TMI was entirely human error. The proof of this is that the automatic systems eventually shut TMI Unit 2 down when the operators quit trying to override the system. American Nuclear plants are the safest in the world because they are continuously being serviced and upgraded. There are six nuclear power plants with a total of nine reactors in my state of Illinois with the oldest facility, Dresden NPS first commissioned in 1953, still operating. While we are gradually changing over to renewable power sources (wind and solar), nuclear power still provides more power to our state than all other sources combined.

It took me just a couple of minutes to complete the census online. I bet a large portion of the population will not complete the census, largely because of irrational fears.

In case you didn't look yet, there is nothing suspect or scary on the census.

Ten years ago I received my census questionnaire in the mail. I filled it out and mailed it back in the postage paid envelope that came with it. Ten years before that, when a census taker knocked on my door, we invited him into our home and spent thirty minutes with him filling out our form. This year like you, I filled out the form online in less than fifteen minutes. I do not feel that this is an inconvenience or an invasion of my privacy. The information collected helps our local governments to serve us better by knowing how and where to spend our tax dollars more efficiently. Please everyone, participate in this important event. It only happens every ten years.
