I keep getting e-mails in my 'Junk' E-mail box that claim to be from Fedex stating that they cannot deliver a package to me because the cannot verify my address. I have always deleted them without answering them because I assumed they were bogus phishing messages. I have lived at the same address for the last 45 years and have not had any problems with my packages being delivered. Am I correct in assuming that these are scam Emails?
DEFINITELY!
Especially if you haven't ordered something.
(Look at the spelling and grammar.)
Yep! Delete them. Mark them as Spam and/or block them. They'll send them from another bogus address but, might as well make more work for the bleeping worthless wastes of air!
Don't even open them. Others have said to scroll to the bottom and "unsubscribe". That'll make it worse. Proves it's a live e-mail account and they will sell it to thousands of others. Ask me how I know. Just delete it, and move on.
Normally when you order anything they have your address and telephone number as well as the information for the store you purchased something from. If they have an address problem they should contact the store or call you on your telephone number provided. I would believe this is a scam of some type.

I look at the header info, see from what IP it originated (The "From" can be spoofed) and they are NOT from FedEx (or UPS, or DHL, or Amazon). Reading the header info also lets you see where the "unsubscribe link"
really goes, NOT FedEx.
Many times I'll report them to the appropriate people.
I have actually managed to get some domains deleted.
Also from Apple, Amazon, and others that have stopped my account and need me to use their log in. Right.

Well, you can go check, but use YOUR OWN (stored) KNOWN SAFE LINK,
NEVER, EVER the one in the email.
(I once got one from Discover, I don't have a Discover card...)
I think all of us probably get these almost daily. I get from 75 to 100 emails in my spam folder daily.

Wow!
I get less than 6 a week.
