Just got off a cruise yesterday and Mahogany Bay in Roatan was one of the stops. This was the sunset from our balcony.

I am looking to rent a telephoto lens with a max reach to 500-600mm.

I am using a canon T4i. Can someone direct me to one or more reputable sites where I can accomplish this? The lens need not be Canon brand; I would certainly try a Tamron or Sigma lens. If you have direct personal experience with the site, that would be best.

Thanks

I have used Lensrental several times and they have always delivered as promised. They often run specials, so watch for those as well.

Not as sharp as I would have liked, but not to much practice at this.

If you really want to enjoy this wonderful park go there a few weeks before winter closing time, you don't have to fight for a parking space as in the summer.

We were there last year in mid September. I couldn't agree with you more. Crowds were down and the weather was great.

I agree with those that say take all three. The 11-16 2.8 is fast enough and wide enough for taking shots inside the ship. Definately take the longest lens you have because there is always something to see that is too far away for the 35MM. I was on an Alaska cruise 2 years ago and wish I had the 11-16.

I heard these two having a discussion yesterday morning across the street on a power pole. The sky was heavily overcast, so not much contrast between their heads and the clouds. It turns out the bird on the right had a large fish he had caught in his talon and he did not want to share.

I saw him live in Tacoma Washington forty five years ago and it is still one of the most memorable performances I've ever seen! The thrill may be gone but I still get goose bumps thinking about it.
