Thanks, Brian. I'm actually afraid of spiders, but dangit, they're just so beautiful in their own scary way...and garden spiders are some of the biggest and best!
Sorry bygeorge! I got names mixed up...and I was just telling my wife how annoying it is when I go to reply and the person I'm replying to is not displayed on the reply page.
Thank you, Brian. I haven't played around with this one but I appreciate the suggestion.
I want to be clear. Are you suggesting that I flip it, or copy the right side of the web to the left side so the spider can be more centered?
Thanks again!
Thank you very much, Sirius!
I found this beauty in a young maple in our front yard.
It only came out at night so I had to use a flashlight to manually focus, then turn the flashlight off and snap the picture using internal flash. (I didn't have my external flash yet.)

Please let me know what you think!
Heh! Thanks, Erv. I did that after I first replied to you.
I have a Nikon D60 right now. Two lenses, 18-55 5.6 and 55-200 5.6. I want to buy another lens soon, but it's just not in our budget right now. I'd like a newer camera, but that's going to be a bit in the future...
Hi, Erv. Thanks! And I live in Livonia, about thirty minutes from Ann Arbor.
Kids are naturals for the camera. My neighbors prove it.

Absolutely brilliant, Marto!
I am proud of this one. Simple but it works for me. Please give me some feedback. (This is my first time posting a picture to UH, but I've been checking it out for a while...)
Thanks,
Garry
