Hello and welcome Jim..I am also new to this site, but the people are so helpful and nice. I am sure you can give a lot of your expertise information to folks like myself.
Take care and enjoy..Wolfie
All I can say is that the pictures are breathtaking. So much beauty in each of these shots. The butterfly is the exception. To be so so fragile and be so strong. Thank you for sharing..

Hi there..yes I did notice the difference in color. I always thought that color of a female would bring the male around. Hmmm guess it doesn't work with the bullfinch.
Love this site..I just keep learning..But I have to tell you, I am sticking with bright colors for me in attracting my male birds..lol
wolfie
Hi there, does the male bullfinch swell up like that upon seeing his romantic interest, or is this is normal size? Just curious as I really don't know much about birds..But I am learning from this site..
Thanks..wolfie
Hi there..all I can say are the pictures are awesome. Picture 1 I would call Weather Beware. Second picture would be the Walls of Heaven. The third picture would be the Lonely Man..I am learning about picture shooting and the people on this site are incrediable in what to look for in taking a great picture. Thank you again for sharing some of your super shots.

How beautiful a picture. You are quite a photographer. Moving boat, holding camera between your knees, and then getting that moment..I am trying to learn from
all the pros out there. You are definitely my mentor.

Utah is one of my favorite places..I'm from Colorado and between these 2 states, my first is Colorado and then Utah..Pictures are gorgeous..
Beautiful shots of the Stanley Hotel and surroundings. Hope you got to walk thru town a little. There is a restaurant off main street that makes all kinds of healthy food. They grow their own vegetables and fruits out back. Forgot the name, but anyone could tell you walking along the town. I lived about 5 miles down the road from Estes. You always pack blankets, shovel, water and snack food. Snow comes at the craziest times..Again, love the pictures..

Hi there..welcome to a great forum..I am new as well. People here are so so nice..

Hi Dave R, thank you for the input. Yes I will try to think of that in the future..I was in the hollow of the canyon persay, so it was hard to take any shots of the canyon because of laying flat on the ground in taking the shot..
wolfie
