I laid on the ground waiting for the clouds overhead to take shape. I took this picture with an old Nikon. Hopefully someone will see the beauty that I saw as the storm was fastly approaching..

Please let me know what you think..I am extremely new at this, so any help would be appreciated..

Tks..wolfie

Thanks for the input. Yes, the clouds were the colors of peach and white and then the black was moving in fast as the storm was coming. It was an awesome sight. I just wish I could take a photo of all the beauty I see thru my eyes. That is what I am hoping for with the help of people like yourself.

Beautiful clouds but since you asked it would be more interesting if some of the canyon was in the photo to give it perspective. Perhaps a very difficult or impossible thing to do at the time. Just my $.02

Hi Dave R, thank you for the input. Yes I will try to think of that in the future..I was in the hollow of the canyon persay, so it was hard to take any shots of the canyon because of laying flat on the ground in taking the shot..

Have you thought about having this printed and framed to hang on your wall. Even though I mentioned perspective the shot is rather interesting and no doubt would generate comments from friends and family.

Interesting cloud formation and coloring. It would be even better if you could have framed it with a bit of the canyon, although you have already said that was not possible.
