from the zoo and work your way up ! :)
Doing a search will get you a whole lot
of wolf spider pictures ....but some nice
wolf pictures too!

Wow, Joanie, with your intro and all the guys in this forum from your area, you are sure to find someone willing to guide you to the wolves. This is a very helpful forum full of really nice people.

Hi wolfie, happy new year and welcome to the hog. That was good advicego to your local zoo and find the wolf pen and just stay there and click away. Some of the best wolf pictures I've seen were shot also in Yellowstone Park. But as wild wolves are shy animals, you will probably need a longggg lens to capture them. Good luck. Looking forward to seeing some wolf shots soon.

You may want to try some wolf or wolf/hybrid rescues to start.
Google the rescues in Colorado.

Sorry Wolfie, can't help you there. Don't know this camera and will not make a recommendation I know nothing about.
The D7100 is an awesome camera with a bit of a learning curve I am still working on. Do your homework before making any purchase. Happy shooting.
