It might be an innocent mistake, but that readout does NOT show that the camera itself has only 224 shutter clicks. The BATTERY has 224 shutter clicks since the last time you recharged it.

The number 224 is meaningless to a buyer.

Thanks for reminding me, completely forgot that it is only pertaining to the current battery, so my original estimate was correct, I charged it only once.

Just sold my 5D and have this lens left over from all my L lenses.
Lens in pristine condition, no blemishes whatsoever.
Not used much at all see pics, asking $1,650.00 which is between what it is worth and what I can get on Ebay for this lens.
Either way a fair deal, I did loose the box, recently moved, it's somewhere in one of the boxes, however right now I cannot find it, if found I will ship to whoever buy's this lens.
Shipping is included in price, paypal or Chase Quick Pay only!

What about your 6D ............. I'm looking a good used one. I can afford a 6D but not a 5Diii though I would love to have it.

6D is long gone, you live only once, so buy the 5DIII it is an amazing camera

After some emails and general interest here is a update:
Camera was purchased Late February from Newegg(so more than a month) for $2,499.00, receipt will be included.
I did register the body at Canon Serial # 298022005162 with no issues.
Comes with ALL original items as purchased in original Kit box, so no lens I purchased body only!
Comes with extra Watson aftermarket battery from B&H and the David Bush guide book.
As of today it has 224 clicks, never used Video, see pics, hope they upload.
My last Canon L lens 24-70mm is for sale too, which goes on Ebay today, of course in the same condition than the camera.

Just got my new A7II, still owning a Canon 5DIII which is for sale now, I am thoroughly impressed with the image quality right out of the box of this A7, I owned all the upper end cameras of Olympus/Nikon, Canon but this one is something else, however:
The Camera manual if the most dreadful peace of crap ever written!
Any Nikon or Canon manual is better than this.
Even the online stuff I found so far sucks.
Is there a book available similar to the David Bush line of guides?

Decided to sell my 5D maybe 300 to 400 clicks, wend mirror less Sony.
US model with purchasing receipt, in original "Kit" box with all the original items included, most is still in the wrapper, I do love the 5DMKIII however it is way overkill for what I do.
Like to offer it here before listing at EBAY.
My new A7II is due in today, so I can take pics of the 5D, camera is like new only used in my house so far, absolutely mint.
You can check my feedback on ebay my username is "oberuwe".
There are no trust issues here, average sale price for a low mileage 5D on ebay is around $2,100.00, that's what I like to get back, since it is only a month old I did spend way more than that.
Offers are welcome.

It is, I never plan to own a camera for more than 2 years tops, at the end of the day the camera is made at the same factory than your US model, I had "Grey" cameras from Nikon and Canon, there are well made and a warranty repair in the first year (base warranty) is extremely rare.
I purchased about 10 "grey" cameras from both over the years and never ever had a problem, the ones I plan to keep longer I buy from B&H.

Peak Design Clutch $39.95. Peak Design Leash $34.95. Both are excellent, cost effective insurance against a dropped camera. Either can be ordered in minutes without spending an entire weekend sifting thru inaccurate ads and misrepresentations on eBay. And do you really save money blindly trusting what some doofus on eBay promises? Can you get straps for less? Of course, but at the exact moment your D610/750/810 or 7DMkII/5DMkIII and lens hits the ground, I doubt you will be thinking about how much you saved...
Peak Design Clutch $39.95. Peak Design Leash $34.... (show quote)

Very well said, will look into that!

Had to ponder same issue last week, however with 5D MK3 and 1DX, opted for 5D since I do not need the speed, half price of 1DX so purchased more L glass for the difference, BUT in your case I would go for the 1DX for sure. Now looking for used 5D MK3 body used under 2K, like to have 2 body's.

Boy oh boy, thank you for all the great reply's and suggestions, I really appreciated that, have read all the reviews and comparisons, it seem like other than the speed and resolution there is not much of a difference between the two, I do not need the speed of the 1Dx, like to have 2 body's
maybe I should buy a 5d m3 new and one used, decisions decisions.....

Thanks everybody for the input, really do not need the speed, so I will give the 5D MKIII a whirl.
The 5Ds is not out until June and I do not need the high resolution either.

I know it poked the Willie many times, but based on budgets most people would pick the 5D, I have the 1Ds MKIII and 6D, have a GAS attack and the budget, like to upgrade now before I get nothing for my 1Ds MKIII anymore, so the question is: If the investment as high as the 1DX is can be done, would you still buy the 5D MKIII?
Honest opinions please, these threads tend to go sideways most of the time, I take pictures of almost anything, I would use all the capability's of both, so no more speed this and video that (don't do video can care less of that ability, from my point of view video does not belong in a DSLR)
Have most L lenses, so both cameras are a good fit, but which one?

I am intrigued by the Wacom tablets, use a high resolution mouse (game mouse) for editing in PS, looked into it but there are a lot of different tablets, wanted to investigate which Wacom unit fits best and is used by fellow hogs.....budget wise looking for the most ideal tablet, not the cheapest, no scene to but cheap and never be happy with it!
