I love those photographs. Biden looks as clumsy as a Whoopi Goldberg in heat, now there is a scary thought, and Harris looks like a cross between a pig and a horse in the last photo. Just the words, Dems on the way down is a comforting thought.

Years ago I had a brand new Browning High Power, probably about 68 after I discharged from the USMC. I loved that gun but for some idiotic reason sold it. I miss it all the time. It is one of Browning's finest handguns ever produced.

Thank you Bill. Yes it is. When I found it I realized it was just what I wanted as a shooter. The bluing is worn on the outside but the bore is pristine and it was the later model with the rounded cylinder release as opposed to the first model. The rear sight groove is squared as opposed to the rounded style of the first model. Shooting is a lot more precise being able to actually have a groove to place the front sight. I was also able to find an old Lawrence holster for it in excellent condition. Life is good.

I have never owned a Model 97 but I agree with you it is still one of Winchester's finest shotguns. They were still selling new in the 60's when I was in high school. Our local hardware store had one brand new in a short barreled military model. I don't recall the price but had I bought it then I am sure it would be worth at least 20 times that amount today. But of course I would have used it too. I have two Model 12's, 20 and 16 gauge and love both of them.
