Sorry about that...longer than I can remember. And your right, if I would have thought about it more..
Big Bear:
I totally agree with you. Other brands are wasting their time and energy.
My 1st camera in the early 60's was a Yashika..had it for 3 weeks and traded it in on my 1st Canon F1. Have had most top Canon Cameras since then. But 5 years ago, when I bought this house I sold all equipment and now am trying to get back into photography.
That's what I was thinking (hoping)...would like to know what the IV is going to be before I buy a III, though.
With the end of production, soon, on the 5d mark iii - will the price drop on the cameras in stock ??
Looks like I will need to add the Canon ring flash to my wish list....My Christmas might be coming in Febr.... I hope.
By the way, think those are REALLY good photos (some unique/foreign frogs) Poison type, aren't they?
Thanks
Richard
Thank you. The depth of field in those pics is great. And they are SHARP...just what I was looking for.
Thanks again
Thank all of you for the info. I think the Canon 100 "L" macro will be my choice. I used the Canon non "L' about 10 years ago and got some good pictures with that. But sold all my camera equipment shortly after that and never replaced it. Chance coming soon for all new equipment.
Thanks again
Richard
The 7d has a lot of good things talked about - but what about using it for macro photography for flowers??
And which of the Canon "L" macro lenses would be best for the 7D II??
Have enjoyed reading the Hog for the past year or so and find a lot of usable information. Thank you, all.
Planning on getting a Canon 5D mark III.
Will be shooting mostly landscapes and flower pictures. Which of the two lenses would be best suited: Canon L 24 - 70 f4 or Canon L 24 - 105?? (will also get the "L" 100 macro and the "L" 180 macro).
And which of the memory cards would be best??
I could care less if Canon did not include video in their EOS Camera......sorry guys.....just not a video type photographer......but, my question is does "moire" affect still pictures???
NO. Had a Canon 5D MII, but sold it and my lenses a couple of years ago; used the money towards purchasing a house. New lenses will be Canon 24-75 f2.8 L, 100 macro L, and the 180 macro L.
Good Morning, everyone.
Will be getting a new camera body and a couple of lenses in the near future. Will be doing mostly landscapes and flower closeups. What are the basic filters that I would need?? (preference is B+W band).
IF things that have been printed lately about the Canon 5DS - R are true, that will be the camera of choice.
Got the announcement today in "Canon Rumors".
Canon has announced 2 new cameras, one with AA filter and the other without. Why is this important and what does it do??
Thank all of you. you have been most informative in the past.
Thank you for the rapid response...
WOW..but, still might try to get it..Any thing heard about what new things the new IV will include??
