I've heard pretty much the same as what the others have posted as well. Check out canonrumors.com every few days or so to stay with the latest. They are not always 100% (who is), but have pretty accurate information as to what the next products will be and when they will be released.
I am very interested in the Mark IV version as well. I really like my Mark III but it's getting up there in age and shutter count. I dropped it the other day...first time I've ever done that actually with any camera, but it came out okay and fully functional with only a large scratch near the shutter button. My lucky day!

It's up over 100,000 and looking pretty tired to be honest. Not sure if you saw the part in my post saying I just dropped the darn thing yesterday morning on asphalt. I deflected the brunt of the fall with my foot, but the 24-105 lens and corner of the body took the hit. Both scratched up a bit, but still going strong. I really have enjoyed this particular 5D.
I'm getting ready to put up my 7D with under 10,000 actuations on it this weekend. I've got to get all the accessories together and get the box out of the basement.

That's just what we need, another Canon. Unless your old one is falling apart, I am sure the new one won't make your lunch. I only have 3 of them now and they are in superb condition.
