Franzis software opinions

I hope you can help. I took a bunch of pics yesterday and all were slightly of focus!!! I knew (thought I knew) the camera and lens combination needed to be adjusted. I tried using the manual. I screwed something up. Now it won't auto focus at all. Have you ever adjusted the focus on a Pentax? Can you help??

Switching from Picasa to Fotor(?) or ?

Since Picasa is being unsupported, I am considering using Fotor.
Picasa stores edits separate from the original picture. Are there any FREE editors that can use the Picasa original + edits? Do I have to export all Picasa pictures to another folder to preserve the edited version? Any suggestions as to a new FREE editor (not GIMP, I am not patient enough to learn.) I use Pentax K02 and Panasonic FZ70. Thanks for any help.
