Switching from Picasa to Fotor(?) or ?

Since Picasa is being unsupported, I am considering using Fotor.
Picasa stores edits separate from the original picture. Are there any FREE editors that can use the Picasa original + edits? Do I have to export all Picasa pictures to another folder to preserve the edited version? Any suggestions as to a new FREE editor (not GIMP, I am not patient enough to learn.) I use Pentax K02 and Panasonic FZ70. Thanks for any help.

Why not simply continue to use Picassa? It may not be supported any longer but you can continue to use it. I've never had any technical issues with the program so the fact it is just unsupported is completely meaningless. Besides, I've never found a program that has a simpler or equal cataloguing system.

I agree. There are a few people out there still using Windows 98 and doing quite well. They may not have all the latest bells and whistles but then they don't need them either. I actually know of some telecom giants that have Win 98 boxes in some back closets.

I use PSE14, but downloaded Fotor to check it out for a friend. I'm impressed with Fotor and would recommend it. It's easy to use and very intuitive.

I've been playing with Faststone. Not as good as managing pics ad Picasa, but I like the editing better.
