These are great! I certainly agree with you about the quality of Alaska sunrises and sunsets when the weather cooperates. In fact, the only photo I have of the normally-tropical "green flash" was one I took from a cruise ship of a sunset in the Gulf of Alaska!
Stunningly beautiful, Brent!

Just an observation after seeing the images we've all posted so far--there are as many with low clouds and mists as there are with blue skies. Alaska's weather is pretty much a mixed bag from day to day--like most of the Pacific Northwest! Those who had sunny days were quite blessed. :D
Sadly, very true, especially in the panhandle and at/near Denali NP. So many folks visit the park and leave without ever seeing Mt. McKinley/Denali.
After 9 cruises and 5 'land cruises' to the Great Land, I have so many wonderful photos of her scenery and wildlife that I just don't know where to start. Here are some of my favorites.

Regis, this is excellence in avian photography. Very well done.
Looks like a monitor lizard to me, not a Gila Monster.
Once again, patience pays off - you really nailed this one! Terrific photo!
Very nice. The Mountain is indeed the top of the top.
Sorry. I accidentally posted the wrong photo. It's there now.
