I am a member of a camera club and this image was entered and the judge gave me a mark of 20 out of 30 When asked for a comment he said it was a great photo but did not offer and comments on improvement. I entered it in another clinic and that judge gave it a 25 out of thirty no comment was given. 2 judges gave it such a wide difference in the mark .

What do I need to do to make it a better mark or if it is even capable of getting a better mark

That chair is sharp as a tack, very good.
Did you use some airbrushing something is hovering over the chair and along the top right edge maybe something used to try to hide the airplane trail I just don't know.
That can Airplane trail can be removed by the way (just ask) it seems to just vanish behind the steam or whatever.

The top right but especially the right bottom is way dark.

We all get sensor dust from time to time me more than others, with your photo in download mode it is large enough so I have to pan from side to side, this is when I see the sensor dust on your photo at least 4 big round spots mostly right near the top this would be a killer in a competition setting.
Usually a simple rocket blower will fix that. In edit Windows photo gallery has the touch up feature, just drag a box over the spot and it vanishes into thin air/steam,, or paint, whatever that is.
Great chair pic.

Linking the Isle of Skye to mainland Scotland.

I will add to the comment " a thin white line separating the mountains on the left side"
It seems to have also effected the white rooftop on the beach.
I only noticed this after it was mentioned.

My personal observation is the dark spot on the tallest mountain.
I realize the Sun is pointing this way, but down explaining light near the top and around the bottom edge.
I assume it is very steep resulting in the shadow, but it does not look normal as the shadow does on the smaller mountain to the right.

The more I look the more distracting it tends to get trying to figure out if you dodge burned in an attempt to mask it in order to leave it.

Still a very good photo, lot's to look at. :-)

IS THERE ANY SUPERCROSS FANS IN HERE?!
Last night i was shooting for the first time a real AMA Supercross in Toronto Canada. I was so nervous I didn't sleep for 3 nights before the event. When I got to my Hotel the first person I come across was one ex MX Supercross champ Jeff Emig ( you can see him on TV on Fox 1 for the supercross events) so the day was starting good so here's some shots from my first fast review of my shots. Let me know if you want to see more cause I have over 2220 pictures from a 12 hours shooting

That's the Pete French barn near Burns Oregon. Built on the French property, and the property was donated to the State of Oregon by the French family in 1969.

Just to clarify for everyone, Pete's last name was French. And it was he and his family that donated the land.
Not the country of France. :-)

And it is a very fine photo. :-D

Thank you, that is what I have been saying, it's run so willy-nilly it's almost a joke. I could pop in right now and find feedback that goes against the current rules in place and simply just pats on the back. Their are only a small number of people (1 to 3) that offer any real feedback the rest is just fluff.

Hello 8-) (((VERTUAL WHITE FLAG)))
Just a couple of brief questions.
1. By posting my work in the photo gallery and asking for your critique to improve I am incorrect.? (wrong section)

1b. I would need to post in the Photo Analysis section?

2. What are the possible concerns (or remedy's) on/for individuals purposely posting there work they know is flawed in some way on a page designed to carry the photo in perpetuity.
Thank you in advance for your response.

Has a nice ring to it.

If you guy's want to have some there is a 3D Q&A topic, I follow it and answer all questions there and in new topics as well,
it is a piece of cake.
No special programs if your computer can simply stick to photos together.
I use the paint section in Windows.
I can crop out any parts for a close up true 3D.

What is it with you people? Why does almost every post degenerate into some kind of us and them? If you are all that insecure and rude then go find or create a forum where you can slang each other off to your hearts content and leave this photography forum for photography. Also when you want to go off topic there are areas of this forum more suited. I have tons of opinions too on all sorts of topics, but don't sneak them into any post I find. You don't need an emoticon to work out how annoyed I am at this point.

I could fix that with my latest video. Just make sure your wife knows it is a clean show. no nudity anywhere. And it's true that close give you bruises while dancing at the pole.

What else. oh! :-o IT'S FREE tell her that you'll be OK then.

Should not have to blink. :XD:

It needs to be in 720 High Def or it's all blurry.
But with my video's I don't seem to mind when they stop for a moment. :D

This band was at the Richmond Irish festival yesterday. They are a cover band for the rolling stones. They were extremely good sounded just like them. Sometimes I just look at the center line and focus on spreading it out into TWO lines, the object jut appears like magic between the two lines

Oh. to take the photos, move over a little bit for a seconds shot.

These have to be reversed before there attached.

and the right eyeball view on the left.
