I have bought 4 lenses from sellers on ebay and I have not been disappointed. I usually make sure the seller still has the box. The importance of this is it can indicate that the seller takes care of his equipment. I just sold one of the lenses that I bought on ebay and the buyer is very happy with his purchase. I point that out to show that this is the 2nd time the lens has been sold online and is still a good buy.

My biggest piece of advice will be for you to be patient. Make sure you know what the lens is going for as the prices vary a lot.

I bought a D7100 referb directly from Nikon and I love it. It was just over $700 and I have not seen that low of a price anywhere since. It is a great camera. I also bought a 50mm 1.8G refurbished from Nikon quite some time ago. Again, it is great and was under $180. Every once in a while Nikon will put refurbished equipment on sale for a week or so. If you have the money at the time you can get some great deals.

The are filter holders for 100mm filter systems.

I have bought from him and his products are great. I use his and the Serk holder and they are identical. The Lee holder is better quality but not necessarily needed. Go for it.
