Thank you all for taking the time to look and comment on my sunrise picture. I have others of this sunrise but this is the last one I shot before we had to get in the truck to head out for our balloon ride. I hope I get another chance someday and will try to keep all these tips in mind.

Thanks to all of you for looking at my photo. I appreciate the positive feedback and will keep in mind some of the tips you have shared with me. I love this whole learning thing and appreciate all you teachers out there.

Thank to all of you who took the time to look at my photo of the sunrise--and even more thanks for commenting.

I am going to try cropping the picture as some of you have suggested to see what results I get.

I really appreciate it when you folks comment because quite often you make me see things in my pictures I don't see.

Thank you ace-mt for commenting on my sunrise picture. Since it is my first, I just wan't sure about it beyond knowing that I liked it. Where I live there are no areas that allow for a pretty sunrise or sunset picture.

This is the first sunrise picture I have ever done. It was taken in Monument Valley AZ on our vacation. Should my silhouette be this dark? Please let me know what I could have done differently so I can learn more.

I love the silhouette just the way it is. Framing that beautiful burst of color

Thank you for taking the time to look at my photo and comment. I have some other pics where the silhouette isn't as dark but the sunrise isn't as rich either and it was the color of the sunrise that was important to me.

Mega positive thoughts heading your way. I sure hope you get the transfer you want. As a military family, I remember waiting for orders and hoping they were the ones that we had put in for. Being closer to family is always a plus. Best wishes for you and the family.

Thank you so much for your input MWAC--you are always spot on. I learn so much through your critiques. You pointed out a couple of things that I didn't even start to see.

I am going to look and see if I cropped her toe in PP. I didn't think about his free hand. One thing is starting to become clear to me and that is that I have to slow down and look harder at how I am posing my people.

Your critiques have brought that to light so I really appreciate you taking the time to look at my picture.

This young couple did me the favor of posing for this picture. I would very much like your comments and critique on this. I can take it because it helps me grow. I did not have a light to help me separate the background from the couple. I shot it with my 50D and a couple of studio lights.

Your photographs are simply beautiful. My husband and I have a trip planned to that area in a few months. I hope I am able to capture the scenery half as well as you have. Thank you so much for sharing these.

Thank you for your clarification Sir Rabbit. Thank you for not putting me down while you gave your explanation. I don't speak up very often but there are some moments that if I did not speak up, I would feel guilty feeling as if I was giving tacit approval to something I disapprove of. Thank you again Sir Rabbit and I was not offended by your post.
