One on the way.
This young couple did me the favor of posing for this picture. I would very much like your comments and critique on this. I can take it because it helps me grow. I did not have a light to help me separate the background from the couple. I shot it with my 50D and a couple of studio lights.

you already pointed out how they are blending in with the back drop, mostly because of her black shirt and dark jeans.
What I see:
You cropped her big toe off.
His hand position is awkward (the one resting on his knee).
I wish you could see more of his hand resting on her belly.
Is foot pointing to the camera, makes his foot look unproportional to his body.
Maybe if you would have angled them a little??
What I like:
the interaction between them, you can sense the love and joy between them.
Lighting is good.
Exposure is great.
You PP is nice as well.
Thank you so much for your input MWAC--you are always spot on. I learn so much through your critiques. You pointed out a couple of things that I didn't even start to see.
I am going to look and see if I cropped her toe in PP. I didn't think about his free hand. One thing is starting to become clear to me and that is that I have to slow down and look harder at how I am posing my people.
Your critiques have brought that to light so I really appreciate you taking the time to look at my picture.

I'm not very good with posing either.
